Stylish Sprinkling System

The stucco wall features an outdoor fireplace with Tuscan elements, including a mixture of stone and brick. Designer Scott Cohen placed oversized ceramic vases on each side of the fireplace for a rustic look.
An Italian Vacation
HGTV fan twd33 didn’t like the wall in her backyard because it felt like a prison. She worked with what she had by using mortar to transform the wall into an Italian getaway. The rustic look, along with Italian-inspired colors, makes the space feel like you’re in a Tuscan villa.
Outdoor dining is taken to a new level with Pamela Berstler’s design. The retaining wall gives privacy while still allowing for a perfect ocean view. When guests are done dining, they can relax on the daybed at the lower-level lounge area.
This space wasn’t much of a backyard because it’s placed between three buildings. Designer Bonnie Bridges updated an unsightly concrete foundation into a playful element by painting it bright orange, which gives the space an inviting feel. The reclaimed wood shelf is topped with potted plants to add greenery to the industrial-style space.
No Problem Here
Sometimes you’re faced with unwanted elements in your backyard. Designer Heather Hardcastle transformed this old problem wall into an eye-pleaser with hanging moss baskets and a one-of-a-kind water feature. These simple additions give the backyard an entirely new cottage-style look.
Urban Yet Inviting
HGTV fan PHLpavilion created the perfect balance between urban and inviting in this colorful outdoor space. The dining area, great for entertaining any number of guests, is separated by a colorful plexi-paneled wall.

The raw cedar salt wall acts as a screen for unappealing trash cans and also supports a steel awning that frames the entry door. Designer Seth Boor designed the screen to create a sense of arrival while maintaining privacy.
Luxurious Curtain Wall
The curtain panels act as a wall in this pool pavilion. HGTV fan arcadiadesign added the curtains to bring luxurious privacy while also protecting against wind without a big wall to make the space feel closed. The daybed makes this spot perfect to read a book and relax.
